Blue Waters

Blue Waters Beach Apartments, established in 1991, is a small complex built on two levels consisting of seven one-bedroom apartments and two two-bedroom apartments all gazing out to sea.

Rupert Carty, who is deceased, owned the property on which Blue Waters is built and it was his desire to have all his family share in this small development. Together with his son-in-law Tony Sheehy, they made Blue Waters Beach Apartments a reality in 1991/1992.

From that period up to present day, the apartments have proven to be a special "home" for many visitors seeking the pleasure of relaxing in the sun! The fact of being located directly on the beach, on Shoal Bay West, also with a large salt pond as its backyard, prolific with migratory bird life, helps to create a sense of privacy and solitude!

At sunset, the sky becomes a myriad of colors broken with the flight of seagulls, sandpipers and other bird life making their own voices heard as they scoop, dip and soar across the bay.

The apartments are very simple in concept, built of concrete, painted white with minimal decor. Shrubs, flowers and palms hug the building and there is a barbeque picnic area for all guests to enjoy.

Housekeeping service is provided six days a week and there are beach umbrellas and chaise lounges available.
